Christmas

We had a great Roper Christmas party this year!! Linda had arranged for Sam Cardon to come and play the piano for us and he ended up bringing his friend Ryan from Ryan Shupe and the rubberband. It was so fun to listen to them play Christmas music and they also played some songs that we sang along with. Santa came at the end of the concert. Grace did pretty good sitting on his lap at first but she was not ok with all the babies trying to be squashed on Santa's lap at once.My family wasn't able to be here for Christmas but they were here a couple days before. They are remodeling a house they just bought in Cheyenne and they needed new toilets...what's a better Christmas present than a toilet? I know it's a little lame but they needed it and it's hard to know what to get your parents!! But the girls sure loved the toilet when we were putting it together for them!Livi wanted pop rocks this year and was so excited that aunt Kinzea got some for her!!Christmas Eve was just us this year which was a first! We had dinner of lots of different appetizers and just had a lot of fun being together! Notice we didn't give santa cookies and milk...no our santa received oreos, a nutty bar, and a coke. Hmm...who's idea was that?Christmas morning Gracie woke up about 7:00 so we went out and she ate breakfast. I didn't want her to really play with her Christmas stuff yet, I wanted to wait for Greg and Livi, but thats kinda hard when everything is sitting out. At about 8:30 we decided to go and wake Livi and Greg up.That's nice of Greg to share his orange cream soda...oh and then he filled up her sippy cup with it. She loved it!
